FTK Caregiving Services provides in-home caregiving for adults across Bedford, Franklin, and Campbell Counties. Every arrangement is shaped around one person — their routines, their preferences, and the kind of support that lets them stay comfortably at home.
Not sure what you need yet? That's normal — we'll help you sort it out.
Care is put together one person at a time
We don't sell set packages. After a conversation about the individual and their routine, we build a caregiving arrangement around what they actually need — which often blends several of the services below. Nothing here is one-size-fits-all.
Personal Care
The everyday care that keeps someone comfortable, clean, and confident. This is personal work, and we treat it that way — with privacy, patience, and a focus on preserving dignity.

Companionship
Loneliness is one of the hardest parts of needing help at home, and it doesn't show up on any checklist. Sometimes the most valuable thing a caregiver brings is simply being there — a conversation, a shared interest, a familiar presence in the house.

Keeping the household running
The practical, everyday things that keep a home comfortable and a person well looked after.

Medication Reminders
Gentle reminders and routine support, so medications are taken on schedule as part of the day's rhythm. We provide reminders only — caregivers do not prescribe, administer, or manage medications unless legally and professionally permitted to do so.

Mobility & Daily Living Assistance
Limited mobility shouldn't mean limited independence. Our caregivers support clients with the everyday activities of daily living — steadying a walk to the kitchen, helping with the tasks that have become harder — while encouraging them to do as much as they safely can for themselves.
That balance matters. The goal isn't to take over. It's to make the day easier while protecting the person's sense of autonomy and dignity.
Moving around the home — safely, at their own pace, with someone nearby.
Respite Care
If you're the one doing the caring, you already know it doesn't stop. Respite care gives family members and primary caregivers time to rest, work, attend their own appointments, or simply take care of themselves — with the reassurance that someone dependable is with their loved one.
Taking a break isn't stepping away from caring. It's what makes it possible to keep caring well.
Nights can be the hardest part. If your loved one needs support after dark — help getting to the bathroom, reassurance during a restless stretch, or simply someone present in the house — we can discuss overnight care as part of their arrangement.
Overnight support looks different for every family, so we talk through what the nights are actually like before we recommend anything.
Alzheimer's disease and dementia change how a person experiences the day, and they change life for the whole family. Our caregivers bring patience and steadiness to that — meeting the person where they are rather than fighting where they aren't.
We know it can be a difficult thing to ask for help with. You don't have to explain it perfectly or have all the answers before you call.
Familiar routines
Predictability that helps the day feel safer.
Patience
No hurrying, no correcting, no frustration.
Companionship
Real presence, not just supervision.
Safety awareness
A careful eye on the home and the person.
Dignity
Treating the adult as an adult, always.
Family support
Backing up the people doing the caring.
Experienced caregivers
Support for complex care needs
Some situations call for more than a helping hand. FTK's caregiving team includes people with a range of professional backgrounds — Registered Nurses (RN), Certified Nursing Assistants (CNA), Emergency Medical Technicians (EMT), and Medical Assistants — and credentials and experience vary from caregiver to caregiver.
That breadth means we can thoughtfully match a caregiver to the needs in front of us. Tell us what your family is dealing with and we'll talk honestly about whether we're the right fit.

A note on what we do: FTK is an in-home caregiving service. We are not a medical practice, hospital, nursing facility, or skilled nursing agency, and we don't provide skilled nursing or medical services.
Caregiving needs differ from person to person, so we don't work from a standard package or a price list. We talk it through with each family and build from there. Call or text and we'll start with a conversation.
