A local caregiving service, built one family at a time

My name is Tracey Goodman, and I am the owner of FTK Caregiving Services. For more than 25 years, caregiving has been more than a profession for me—it has been my passion and my calling.

My very first client was actually my first-grade teacher, someone I dearly loved as a child. Even though many years had passed since I had been in her classroom, the care and affection I had for her remained. Having the opportunity to care for her was an incredibly meaningful experience, and it was then that I knew I was exactly where I was meant to be.

FTK Caregiving Services grew out of another experience that changed the direction of my career. One of my clients, whom I was caring for at night, had an accident during the day while she was alone and suffered a serious back injury. She suddenly needed around-the-clock care—more than I could provide on my own. I reached out to several trusted friends and asked them to help provide the care she needed.

Her son then asked me to coordinate the caregivers, including managing the schedule and handling payments, so that he could have one person to communicate with and rely on. That simple request became the foundation of FTK Caregiving Services.

Since those early days, we have grown from one client and five caregivers to a team serving 18 clients with 24 caregivers. While our company has grown, our purpose has remained the same: to provide compassionate, dependable care that enhances the quality of life for our clients while giving their families greater peace of mind.

At FTK Caregiving Services, we believe that quality care begins with people you can trust. We place a strong emphasis on the dependability and continuity of our caregivers because we understand how important it is for clients and their families to know who will be there for them.

For us, caregiving is personal. It always has been—and it always will be.
